WhatsApp notifications are sent automatically and follow a predefined template. Each action recorded on the platform triggers a message based on a specific template.

Because sending is automatic, messages cannot be customized. If the participant replies to the message on WhatsApp, the reply does not reach the platform.

Notification types

Participants see the notification types in Notification preferences. In the WhatsApp column, they choose which ones to receive. Some email communications are required, and each community can turn off certain types.

Below are some of these message templates. The text in brackets is filled in automatically with the community data.

New assignment

[Bell emoji] New notification: There is a new activity for you! The activity “[activity name]” will be available until: [deadline date and time], so don’t forget to complete the tasks on time. Notifications can be disabled at any time in your profile.

New post on forum

New comment on answer

Answer rejected
