The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of the OW Voices platform are initially configured with a default template. This means that whenever a new Community is created, the standard OW Voices terms and policies will already be automatically available to participants.
However, if necessary, the Community Administrator can edit these documents to include specific information related to the study or the Community guidelines.

How to Access the Terms and Policies
To edit the Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy, follow the steps below:
1. Access the “Settings” menu of the Community.

2. Select the “Personalize” option.

3. Then click on “Terms and Policies”.

In this area, it will be possible to view the documents currently configured in the Community.
When accessing this area, the documents will already open directly in edit mode, allowing you to make changes to the content.

Edit Terms and Policies
On the Terms and Policies page, you will be able to edit the existing text or insert new content according to the needs of your Community.
At the bottom of the page, the following options will be available:
Save: allows you to save the changes made to the terms or the policy.
Reset: allows you to restore the terms or policies to the platform’s default template if you need to undo the modifications.

We recommend that all changes to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy be made before sending invitations to participants.
This is because, during the platform registration process, participants must accept the terms and policies in order to complete their registration and access the Community.Was this article helpful?
