How to enable WhatsApp notifications? (Participant)

Modified on Thu, 5 Mar at 11:55 AM

A participant can enable WhatsApp Notifications on the platform in two different ways:

  • Registration
  • Account Settings

Registration

As a participant, you must fill in the registration information normally (Name, Email, Password).

Then, you must fill in the cellphone information:

  • Country
  • Cellphone number

After filling in the information, click the “Validate” button. Then, you will receive a code on the WhatsApp number previously registered.

Enter the code received in the text box as shown in the image below.

After system validation, you must enable WhatsApp notifications by checking the box next to the text: I agree to receive notifications via WhatsApp.

From this step onward, you can continue the registration normally, and WhatsApp notifications will already be enabled.

At any time, you can still revoke consent in the Account Settings.

Account Settings

If you already have an account and want to enable WhatsApp notifications, you can activate them in

the Account Settings.

Then follow the same steps: fill in the mobile phone information and select the “Validate” button.
  • Country
  • Cellphone number

After filling in the information, click the “Validate” button. Then, you will receive a code on the WhatsApp number previously registered.

Enter the code received in the text box as shown in the image below.

You enable the checkbox: I agree to receive notifications via WhatsApp and save changes as shown in the image below:

Done! You are now able to receive notifications via WhatsApp.

Disable Notifications

To disable WhatsApp notifications, simply go to the Account Settings, indicated by the gear icon shown in the image below:

In the Account Settings, to disable notifications, you can find the button: Revoke WhatsApp Consent.

Simply click the button and then save the changes. Done, the notifications have been disabled.

Remember to stay active in the community to avoid missing new updates, as WhatsApp messages and notifications are meant to make this process easier.
