There are four types of access on the platform: Administrator, Moderator, Observer, and Participant. Each profile has different objectives and permissions within the Community. Below, you can better understand the role of the Participant.

INDEX

Participant

Participants are the respondents in an online Community study. This access is essential for the functioning of the Community, as participants provide the necessary information and contribute opinions, perceptions, and experiences, generating insights from the proposed activities and discussions.

After their account is created, the Participant can access the platform to respond to activities, participate in forum discussions, and follow communications from the Community.

In the main menu, the Participant can view available activities, track their progress in the Community, and access other important information related to the study.

Additionally, the Participant also has access to the Knowledge Base, where they can consult help articles about how to use the platform, solve common questions, or obtain guidance on available features.

For more information on how to use these resources, consult the specific articles available in the Knowledge Base.

Feed

In the “Feed” menu, the Participant can view the main information and updates from the Community in a single space. This environment gathers important content, available activities, and progress indicators within the study.

Below are the main elements displayed in the Feed:

Welcome Message

Area intended to introduce the community to the participant. In this section, an initial message is usually displayed with a brief description of the community’s objective and general guidelines about participation.

Space used to highlight important content, such as initial guidance, reminders, or relevant information about participating in the community. The information is displayed in a slide format that can be navigated by the participant.

New Forum Post

Indicates when there is a new post in the community forum. From this section, the participant can quickly access the discussion, comment, and interact with other members.

Community Rules

Displays a summary of the main community guidelines, such as respect among participants, constructive participation, and focus on the proposed topics. There may also be an option to view the complete set of rules.

Next Activity

Highlights the next activity available to the participant. In this area, it is also possible to view the completion deadline and access the activity directly to start it.

By clicking “See Now”, the participant will automatically be directed to the next activity available to answer.

Community Progress

Shows the user’s participation progress within the study. This section displays the status of completed activities and tasks, allowing the participant to track their progress in the community.

Important: It is essential that the Participant completes all activities available in their account as soon as possible. There are no right or wrong answers — the goal is to understand your opinion about the discussed topic.

Activities

In the “Activities” menu, the Participant can view a list of all activities available in the Community, including those that have already been answered and those that are still pending.

Each activity contains tasks that must be completed by the Participant according to the instructions provided.

For more details on how to participate in activities, consult the article “How to respond to activities”.

Forum

In the “Forum” menu, the Participant can interact with posts and discussions within the Community by replying to comments, sharing opinions, or reacting to posts.

This area is used to promote the exchange of experiences and discussions among participants in the study.

Learn more about how the Forum works in the specific article available in the Knowledge Base.

Remember that there are no right or wrong answers — we want to know your opinion about the discussed topic, so it is important that you are as transparent as possible.

Notifications

Below the “Forum” menu, there is a notification bell, where the Participant can follow updates and interactions within the Community.

Through this menu, it is possible to view important announcements, comment replies, new activities, and other communications related to the study.

It is recommended to check notifications frequently so you do not miss important information about your participation in the Community.
